NOORTE HEAKS TÄNU 2019 RECOGNITION EVENT

recognition of achievements / celebrating 20 years of the Youth Work Act / client events

The underlying idea of the Noorte Heaks Tänu 2019 event was JOURNEY. The journey signifying how we reached where we are today in the 20 years after the adoption of the Youth Work Act. The journey youth workers take in order to ensure the wellbeing of young people in Estonia. The event consisted of two parts – the award ceremony and evening entertainment. The number of guests, which was initially 200, soon rose to 300 registered guests after the event was announced. Minister of Education and Research Mailis Reps introduced 42 youth workers and organisations during the event. Winners were announced in 12 categories and we managed to do this quickly and efficiently in 1.5 hours. The event was broadcast live on Delfi, the website of the Ministry of Education and Research and the Facebook page of the Estonian Youth Work Centre.
